Jaén
Rock Choir.

The Jaén Rock Choir is an intergenerational choir. It was founded in October 2024 under the musical direction of Teresa Martínez, has around 50 members and has become a reference choir in the Andalusian city.

It is part of a network of rock choirs in Spain, with which it shares repertoire and project. In addition, the Jaén Rock Choir aims to delve into the rock repertoire native to the province of Jaén and also into Andalusian rock.

Notable performances by the group include their participation in the rock choirs concert at the Auditorio Manuel de Falla in Granada in January 2024 and in March 2025, as well as the concert on 20 September 2025 as part of the Jaén autumn festival, where they managed to fill the Plaza de Santa María with more than a thousand spectators. They have performed in various places in the province such as the Teatro Montemar in Baeza, the Teatro Cervantes in Martos or the castle of Torredonjimeno. They have also left the Andalusian context to participate in the "rock n' choirs" festival in Sant Cugat del Vallés.

They also intend to carry out a social and cultural dynamizing role in the city, creating participatory choral actions in different locations around the city or street concerts, such as the concert they offered last Christmas through the streets of Jaén or their performance at the last Jaén book fair.
